IMPORTANT – Tighten the nut fully down then loosen by approxi-
mately half a turn to enable free rotation of the gearmotor on the sup-
port.

13. On the front bracket, secure the gearmotor to the bracket pin by
means of the screw supplied (tighten fully down) (fig. 20).
20
14. Release the gearmotor by means of the special release key (see
chapter "Manually releasing or locking the gearmotor" in the
TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION) and make a number of manual
gate opening and closing manoeuvres to check the following points:
- avoid excessive tightening of the screw on the rear support;
- the drive carriage (screw) of the gearmotor must slide perfectly
along the worm gear.
15. If the system is not equipped with mechanical stops on the ground
to block the gate leaf at the end of the opening movement, proceed
as described below.
With the gearmotor released, open the gate leaf and move it to the
maximum opening position as established in point 03. Then, using a
hex wrench, slightly loosen the screw of the mechanical limit switch
and move the latter against the drive carriage (screw). Then tighten
the mechanical limit switch screw fully down (fig. 21).

16. At the end of all assembly procedures, make the final fixture of the
front bracket on the gate leaf.
IMPORTANT – Perform all drilling and fixture operations leaving
the bracket exactly in its original position, held by the clamp
through to final fixture. On completion, remove the clamp.

17. At this point, if the gate to be automated is a two-leaf mod-
el, repeat the same operations as described in this STEP 5
to install the second gearmotor.
