CAUTION!
Make sure the electrodes do not come into con-
tact with the KCI solution (storage solution for
the pH probe).
Store the probe in a dry location with the
probe guard screwed on.
Remove any soiling from the probe using a
soft brush and water.
If the electrodes are soiled, place them in
distilled water for approx. 15 minutes.
If the probe has not been used for a long
time, place it in distilled water for 30 minutes
prior to taking a measurement. Due to the
inert-pair effect, the probe needs some time
before it can be used again.
NOTE!
Make sure the probe guard cap is screwed on.
This must not be removed during calibration
and storage.
Connect the probe to the measuring device.
Power on the device.
Immerse the electrodes in the test sample
so that they are completely covered.
Carefully stir the sample to create a homo-
geneous sample. Ensure no air bubbles are
created.
NOTE!
The Wöhler WA 335 shows the electrical con-
ductivity in the display. Depending on the
measured value, the device automatically se-
lects the unit µS/cm or mS/cm.
