Calibration
As a rule, the accuracy of measurements depends on the frequency the calibration pro-
cedure is carried out.

access parameter P70.
Press the Enter key to access the tempera-
ture unit setting.
Press the Enter key again to access option
P71.
C (default) flashes in the display.
Use the arrow keys to select either °C or °F.
Press the Enter key to confirm the setting.
NOTE!
It is recommended that you calibrate the probe
frequently. To achieve high measurement accu-
racy you should run the calibration procedure at
25 °C, for example in the boiler room.
Remove the probe guard from the probe.
To clean the probe, stir it in distilled water or
clean tap water.
CAUTION!
Never wipe the probe dry. That could cause the
probe to become electrostatically charged,
which can lead to erroneous measurement and
calibration readings.
NOTE!
Use a fresh calibration solution for each calibra-
tion to ensure the solution is not contaminated.
Fill the calibration solution into a transpar-
ent container prior to running the calibration
procedure; this will allow you to check if the
glass bulb is completely covered.
The container must be clean; even better, it
should be sterile.
