Calibration
As a rule, the accuracy of measurements depends on the frequency the calibration pro-
cedure is carried out.
11.1 Calibrating the pH probe

Press the Enter key to access the tempera-
ture unit setting.
Press the Enter key again to access option

C (default) flashes in the display.
•
Use the arrow keys to select either °C or °F.
•
Press the Enter key to confirm the setting.

NOTE!
It is recommended that you calibrate the probe
frequently. To achieve high measurement accu-
racy you should run the calibration procedure at
25 °C, for example in the boiler room.

Remove the probe guard from the probe.
To clean the probe, stir it in distilled water or
•
clean tap water.
CAUTION!
Never wipe the probe dry. That could cause the
probe to become electrostatically charged,
which can lead to erroneous measurement and
calibration readings.
NOTE!
Use a fresh calibration solution for each calibra-
tion to ensure the solution is not contaminated.
Fill the calibration solution into a transpar-
•
ent container prior to running the calibration
procedure; this will allow you to check if the
glass bulb is completely covered.
The container must be clean; even better, it
should be sterile.
