Undo the 5 screws on the back of the de-

vice, then open the battery compartment.
Insert 4 AAA batteries 1.5 V. Observe cor-

rect polarity when inserting the batteries.
There are polarity markings in the battery
compartment.
Set the required settings and run the cali-
•
bration procedure as described in chapters
10 and 11.
CAUTION!
Always switch off the device before connecting
or changing probes. The device automatically
recognizes the connected probe.
Insert the probe connector into the probe
•
socket connector on the top end of the de-
vice. Observe the mating faces of the plug
and socket connectors.
• Tighten the union nut.
