How to use the pH probe

Prior to measurement

Ensure the glass bulb of the probe is kept moist
at all times. During storage, the glass bulb
should be covered by KCI electrolyte storage
solution.

Do not touch the glass bulb! Damage and abra-
sion could destroy the probe.

If the probe was not stored in KCI solution, soak
the probe for 30 minutes in a KCI solution be-
fore using.

CAUTION!
Store the probe with the transparent cap,
but without the probe guard.
Fill the transparent cap with KCI electrolyte
storage solution before storing.
CAUTION!
Remove the transparent, protective cap
covering the probe.
Rinse the probe with distilled water to re-
move any soiling.
NOTE!
Screw the probe guard onto the pH probe.
Connect the pH probe to the device.
Power on the device.
