CAUTION
• The installation of the control unit must be carried out by a Specialised technician.
• Before using the control unit, read carefully the instructions contained in this manual, in the pump manual
to which the control unit is connected and in the machine manual onto which the control unit is installed.
In particular make sure you have well understood how the control unit works as far as the liquid shut-off
operations are concerned.
• Do not operate any tap fitted onto the control unit if they are not connected to an accessory (lance, herbicidal
bar, etc.) which prevents the pumped liquid from exiting accidentally.
• Observe the safety warnings contained in the use and maintenance manual of the pump to which the control
unit is connected and of the machine onto which it is installed.
• The control unit is the necessary complement of the pump incorporated in the machine on which it is installed.
The safety warnings provided for the pump in the relative use and maintenance manual also apply
to this control unit; these warnings are fully reported in this document.
• Comply with the instructions contained in paragraph
• The working pressure must never exceed the maximum value provided for the control unit (also refer to
paragraph
"TECHNICAL FEATURES AND DATA"
• Do not use the control unit if:
- it has been knocked seriously;
- there are evident water leaks.
In such cases have a Specialised technician check the control unit.
• Check that all hooks (11) on the control unit are correctly fitted. Pay special attention to those control units
which are fastened to the pump or to the remote control kit by means of a hook.
• Do not change in any way the installation conditions of the control unit, in particular do not change its
fastening and hydraulic connections.
• Do not carry out any maintenance job on the control unit if the machine on which it is installed is working.
• Ask a Specialised technician to carry out the checks scheduled by Extraordinary Maintenance.
• The machine on which the control unit is installed must comply with the safety requirements established
by the European directives. This is guaranteed by the presence of
Declaration from the Manufacturer of the machine on which the control unit is installed.
WARNING
• Do not feed the control unit with water at a temperature higher than 40 °C (104 °F) or lower than
5 °C (41 °F).
• In case of use at very low temperatures, make sure there is no ice inside the control unit.
• Do not feed the control unit with salty water or water containing impurity. If this occurs, run the control
unit with clean water for some minutes.
• Carry out the checks scheduled by the routine maintenance.
