Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem
The device is not
working. No indicators
on the display.
Error message "E01"
appears on the
display.

The device has
switched off and is not

An unpleasant odour

Potential cause / solution / tips
•
Has the mains plug been correctly inserted in the sock-
et? Correct the position of the mains plug.
•
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse for your mains connection.
•
The mixing bowl has not been inserted properly. Insert
it in the receptacle for the mixing bowl and push it down
until it audibly locks into place.
The cross-blade adapter is blocked, e. g. by too large pieces
or fi ll quantity.
1. Switch the device off with the I / 0 on/off switch.
2. Remove the mixing bowl and open it.
3. Remove the obstacle with the spatula, reduce the fi ll
quantity and/or add some more liquid.
4. Close the mixing bowl, reinsert it and switch the device
on.

The mixing bowl is open or the lid or steamer adapter
is not locked properly. Correct the position of the mixing
bowl lid/steamer adapter.
The motor is overheated.
1. Switch the device off with the I / 0 on/off switch.
2. Remove the mixing bowl and open it.
3. Reduce the fi ll quantity and/or add some more liquid.
4. Wait approx. 5 minutes (cool down period).
5. Close the mixing bowl and reinsert it.
6. Switch the device on. If it is still not possible to switch the
device on after the cool down period, contact customer
service.

Are you using the device for the fi rst time? An odour
often develops when using new devices for the fi rst time.
The odour should disappear once you have used the
device a few times.
•
Overloading the motor may, apart from causing the
device to be deactivated by the electronic safety switch,
also produce an odour due to the hot motor. However,
this is absolutely no cause for concern. The device will
be fully operational after the cool down period.
