Mixing bowl lid
The mixing bowl lid seals the mixing bowl. To prevent the food being processed or
cooked from spraying out, only operate the device once the lid has been properly fi tted
and locked.
Putting the lid on
ATTENTION!
■ Scalding hazard due to spraying of hot food being mixed! Before putting on the
lid, make sure that the sealing ring (3) is properly fi tted, is clean and not damaged
to ensure that the lid is properly sealed and that liquids or foods being cooked are
not able to spray out between the mixing bowl and lid. If the sealing ring is damaged,
quickly replace it – however, no later than every two years in any case.
Removal
ATTENTION!
■ Risk of injury associated with food spraying out of the device! Only take the
mixing bowl lid off once the cross-blade adapter has come to a stop.
To remove the mixing bowl lid, follow the steps for putting it on in reverse order:
1. Hold the lid by the handle and turn it counterclockwise.
2. Take the lid off of the mixing bowl.

1. Turn the handle of the mixing bowl towards you. Put the lid
on the mixing bowl so that the lid handle is to the right of
the handle of the mixing bowl.
2. Push the lid all the way down.
3. Hold the lid by its handle and turn it clockwise until the
handle is in line with the handle of the mixing bowl. On the
opposite side, the spout must be pushed into the catch of
the lid.
• The sealing ring (3) must be
seated in the groove along the
edge of the lid. Put it in if this is
not the case.
