Chopping and blending
ATTENTION!
Overheating of the device! At maximum speed (10) use the device continuously for
no more than 2 minutes without stopping. Then, let the device cool off for a short time
before using it again.
Once the contents of the mixing bowl have reached a temperature of 60 °C with
the heating function on, the maximum speed level is 4. Cold ingredients are there-
fore suitable for fast mixing and chopping. The heat function should be switched
off.
Only use the cross-blade adapter without any additional accessories and follow the
instructions in the previous section "Basic use of the device".
To prevent foods from spraying out, close the opening in the lid with the measuring
cup and hold it tight at high speeds levels.
Select the speed levels 4 to 10 for coarse, fi ne and very fi ne results when chopping
and mixing. Slowly move the rotary knob to the desired position.
Push the TURBO button for short bursts at high speed (10), e.g. for chopping ice
cubes. This button is also suitable for pulse operation: Larger (quantities of) food
are chopped into uniform pieces by pushing the TURBO button a few times in a row.
Stirring, puréeing, cooking and heating
ATTENTION!
To prevent boiling over, do not insert the measuring cup in the lid opening when boil-

lid opening!
Risk of damage to the stirring adapter!

The spatula must not be inserted when using the stirring adapter.
Do not add any food that could damage or block the stirring adapter when the device
is running.
The stirring adapter must not be used for kneading dough to prevent damage to it.
Once the contents of the mixing bowl have reached a temperature of 60 °C with
the heating function on, the maximum speed level is 4.
At low speed levels, the ingredients are stirred constantly and gently to prevent them
from sticking and burning on. This function is particularly suitable for preparing mash,
soups, pudding, sauces, rice pudding, stews, dough etc.
Only use the cross-blade adapter for puréeing.
Only use the cross-blade adapter to stir dough or meals with large pieces that could
jam the stirring adapter.
Otherwise fi t the stirring adapter on the cross-blade adapter (see chapter "Using the
accessories correctly", section "Stirring adapter (butterfl y)") and follow the instruc-
tions in the section "Basic use of the device".
