Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping

hazard. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of a table
or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch him/herself and pull
down the device.
For your health
There may be some production residue stuck to the device. To

avoid health risks, clean it thoroughly before fi rst use. Also clean
the device after every use to prevent the build-up of germs. For
this, please read the notes in the chapter "Cleaning".
Risk of electric shock and fi re
Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.

Only use the device in enclosed areas.

Always place the device on a dry, level, solid and heat-resistant

surface with adequate space on all sides.
Maintain adequate distance to other heat sources such as

stovetops or ovens in order to prevent damage to the device.
Set up the device in a location so that there is no risk of the de-

vice, the mains cord or the plug falling in or coming into contact
with water or other liquids.
The device should never be set up when highly fl ammable ma-

terials are nearby (curtains, textiles, etc.).
Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with pro-

tective earth contacts. The socket must also be easily acces-
sible after the device has been connected. The mains voltage
must correspond to the technical data of the device. Only use
proper extension cords, whose technical data correspond to
those of the device.
Lay the cord such that it is not crushed or creased and such that

it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not place any fl ammable materials such as paper, cardboard

or plastic in or on the device.
