Operating Manual
• To activate the leak detector, push the RESET button.
• The LEAK flag warms up for approximately 30 seconds
• The audible ticker begins to tick
• The bottom segment of the leak detector bar graph
illuminates.
• To inactivate the leak detector and move to the Measure page,
push and hold the PAGE button for three seconds.
Bar-hole Sampling
To use the Orion G Multigas and Leak Detector for bar-hole
sampling:
Press RESET to start the timed sample (factory-default setting is
45 seconds).
• Display will show countdown on bottom right
• Sustained gas concentration will show on top left
• At end of timed sample, unit will beep three times and then
show the peak reading of the timed sample.

Peak Readings (PEAK) (FIGURE 3-10)

• The PEAK flag appears in the upper portion of the display to
show the highest levels of gas recorded by the Orion G Multigas
and Leak Detector since:
• Turn-ON or
• Peak readings were
reset.
• To Reset the Peak
Readings:
1. Access the Peak page.
2. Push and hold the
CHANGE/RESET
button until the PEAK
flag flashes.
3. Push the ON-OFF/PAGE
button to reset the Peak.
