3. Gently separate the
sensor cover from the
base; do not disconnect
the sensor cover from
the tubing.
4. Locate the three O-rings in
the sensor cover;
inspect and replace
O-rings if damaged.
5. Gently rock the sensor
from its socket; then,
remove and properly
dispose of sensor.
6. Locate the spacer resting
on the circuit board
below the sensor; inspect
and replace if damaged.
7. Insert the replacement
sensor.
8. Replace the sensor cover and connected tubing, ensuring that
all three O-rings are in place.
9. Insert the new, smaller diameter filter into the probe cap; then,
insert the new, larger diameter.
10. Screw the probe cap back onto the probe housing, ensuring
that the filter remains centered in the probe cap during
assembly.
11. Turn ON the instrument and enter Leak Detect mode. Expose
the probe to a source of natural gas. Verify that the bargraph
display and the audible frequency alarm go up.
Verification of response is required; otherwise, the
instrument may not perform as required, and persons relying
on this product for their safety could sustain serious personal
injury or death.
