6. SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
6.2.3 GROUPS
In this menu you will be able to make groups with certain privileges to
restrain the ability of dispensing products or using hose reels or keypds.
Press + and a Pop up window will appear:
• Name: You can make a brief description of the group (i.e.:
Mercedes-Benz Users)
• Users: You can set the customers in this group
• Products: You can set the products that the customers can
dispense
• Dispense Point: You can set the dispense points in which the
customers can dispense
• UDats: You can set UDats in which the customers can dispense
• Active: You can enable or disable this group by ticking/unticking
this option.
6.2.4 DISPENSE SCRIPT
With this option you will set the way you want to insert the job orders as
well as more data.
On the left part of the screen (Dispense Script) you can see which are the
required data when you insert a job order. If you want the data to be
required, you have to move the button to the right so that the colour
gets green.
On the right part of the screen (Validation) you can set how you want to
work. There are several options:
• Without ERP connection: No validation from the Data
Management System (DMS). You can change the positions of the
fields to be displayed in the order you want.
You can select if an operator can be selected from virtual keypad.
As well, you can choose to deliver oil without inserting a quantity.
• Workorder Validation: Before the transaction is allowed, the
work order is sent to the DMS for validating. If the DMS confirms
that the work order exists, the user may continue with the process,
otherwise access is denied.
With this option you can choose to deliver oil without inserting a
quantity
As well, you can set an Override code just in case you need to make
a dispense without entering a job order.
• Preset: (Validated Preset Transactions). The user types the work
order and selects the product. The system searches in the local
database and check if it exist. If it exists, the required quantity is
returned. The same workorder with different products cannot be
used, in that case use the PRELOAD mode

If you click on the tick of any text and then
appear and you will be able to choose the key position in which the text
appears when the job order is inserted.
• ERP Preset: The user types the work order and selects the product.
The system asks DMS if the order is opened and associated with that
product. If it is, the DMS set the required quantity.
• Preset Direct: The user concatenates work order and dispense
point in the work order field (XXXXX.YYY). The system sends the
information to the DMS and the DMS, if the information is validated,
returns the maximum quantity.
• Product Preload: The user types the work order and selects the
product. The system searches in the local database and check if it
exist. If it exists, the required quantity is returned.
• LocalWS: The DMS sends work orders to the local database via web
services. The system validates the work order and the DMS asks for
the dispensed quantity after the transaction is completed.
