6. Fit the complete holder for the adjustment screw onto
the guide shuttle with the supplied screws (12) and
centering rings (13). Tightening torque according to
table 5.

7. Pressurize the cylinder so that the adjustment screw in
the holder for the shock absorber is pressed tightly
against the stop sleeve in the holder for the adjustment
screw.
8. Adjust the position of the guide shuttle by turning the
adjustment screw and lock it in the desired position by
tightening the locking nut (5) against the holder.

Attaching a load

There are many ways of attaching a load to the RTC
cylinder slide. This section therefore only gives general
information and states which screw sizes can be used to
attach to the different types of cylinder.
Make sure that the load is properly attached for
the specific application and that the attachment
can handle the load for which the cylinder is
dimensioned. Observe the force and torque
specifications in the online product catalog.
Centering rings
Centering rings are available in various sizes. They can be
used for the versions RTC-CG, RTC-HD, CKP and CKP-CL.
See the online product catalog for more information.
RTC-BV
O When attaching to the slide, use the screws listed in the
table 6.

The load is attached to the slide without centering rings.
The load is attached either with screws to some of the
threaded holes or with square nuts placed in the T-slots.
If the load is attached using square nuts, the maximum
permissible load reduces.

A set of square nuts is available to order with the cylinder
RTC-SB. The set consists of 10 pcs square nuts suitable
for the slots on the top of the slide (see online product
catalog).
