Monter le porte-bagages avant (lowrider)

De part et d'autre de la fourche, se trouvent un trou avec une
douille filetée M6 (1) et en dessous un perçage fileté M5 (2).
1. Retirez le lowrider de l'emballage.
2. Placez le lowrider sur la fourche, tel qu'il est présenté sur
l'illustration et vissez-le à la main sur les trous supérieurs
(1) à l'aide des vis à six pans creux fournies.
3. Placez les deux autres vis à six pans creux avec des
rondelles plates à travers les rainures (2) dans la partie
inférieure du lowrider et vissez-le à la main sur la fourche.
Remarque :
Lorsque les garde-boues sont montés, vous avez besoin
de vis plus longues.
4. Orientez le lowrider de sorte que les entretoises supé-
rieures soient horizontales et serrez les quatre vis.
Monter le dérailleur avant
Avec un dérailleur avant associé à un triple plateau, vous pou-
vez tripler le nombre de vitesses. Vous pouvez, dans la table
des développements (page 32) des données techniques des
présentes instructions, comparer les développements dispo-
nibles avec les différentes configurations de changements de
vitesses.
1. A l'aide d'un extracteur de manivelle, extrayez la pédale
droite et le triple plateau.
2. Sur la bôme, placez le collier (1) et le support (2) du dé-
railleur avant juste derrière le boîtier de pédalier. Serrez
la vis tout d'abord uniquement à la main afin de pouvoir
orienter le dérailleur correctement.
3. Séparez la chaîne au niveau du maillon rapide. Faites-la
passer à travers le dérailleur et refermez-la de nouveau
avec le maillon rapide.
4. Replacez la pédale avec les trois plateaux sur l'axe de
pédalier et revissez-la.

Mounting the lowrider rack

The lowrider rack can be loaded with 15 kg (33 lbs). On each
side of the fork, there are two threaded holes: one in the
middle (1) for M 6 bolts and one below (2) for M 5 bolts.
1. Take the lowrider rack out of its packaging.
2. Place the lowrider rack on the fork as shown in the
picture and attach it by screwing the enclosed Allen bolts
into the upper holes (1) without tightening.
3. Now insert the two remaining Allen bolts with washers
through the slots (2) in the lower part of the lowrider
rack and screw them lightly into the threaded holes in the
fork.
Note:
If a fender is also attached, longer bolts will be needed.
4. Adjust the position of the lowrider rack so that the upper
brace is parallel with the ground; then tighten all four
bolts.

Mounting a front derailleur

You can triple the number of gears on your trike by adding a
front derailleur and three front chainrings. You can compare
various gear combinations using the Table of Distance Trav-
eled per Crank Revolution (page 34) provided in this manual
in the section Technical data.
1. Use a crank puller to remove the right crank arm and
chainring.
2. Attach the clamp (1) and mounting arm (2) for the derail-
leur directly behind the bottom bracket on the front
boom. Tighten the bolt lightly so that you are still able to
adjust the position of the derailleur.
3. Open the chain at the connecting link (master link). Pass
the chain through the front derailleur cage. Then recon-
nect the ends with the connecting link.
4. Place the crank with the three chainrings onto the bottom
bracket spindle and secure by screwing the bolt down
tightly.
