Power up
Be sure to be familiar with:

Please read through the operation manual and
follow the instructions, especially when operating
the wheel balancer for the first time.
The operator should be familiar with the warnings
and cautions.
The operator should be qualified to work with the
unit.
Always ensure that the wheel guard is lifted and the
gauge arm is in its home position (fully retracted).
Refer to Fig. 5-1.
Insert the power cable plug in the machine power
socket (1).
Set the switch (2) to the "I" position.
Note: If the unit beeps and does not proceed or if an
error code is shown (
The unit will beep and perform a self-test now.
In this phase this message is displayed on the screen:
"WAIT: LOADING..." (Fig. 5-2).
As long as the machine is carrying out the self-tests,
no inputs and no other operations whatsoever must be
made. During the self-test phase the machine must not
be subjected to shocks or vibrations.
Upon completion of the self-test an acoustic signal is
heard, the screen shows the MAIN MENU (Fig. 5-3).
5.1.1
Activate the Lifter
Only for models with wheel lifter
After starting the machine, before performing any
other operation, the operator must activate the wheel
lifting system.
The Information Field shows the request on display;
"Press the pedal to activate the lifter"
Press the control pedal (A, Fig. 5-4).
If necessary, the lifter descends completely.
The machine is ready to run.
