Operation
The OPTIMISATION "9" screen appears (Fig. 5-77).

START is signalled on the screen
 Perform the wheel measuring run.
A measuring run is performed.
The OPTIMISATION "10" screen, outside, is displayed
(Fig. 5-78) or the OPTIMISATION "10" screen, inside,
appears (Fig. 5-79).
Indication H 0
Optimum condition has been achieved and cannot be
further improved.
 Continue as shown on screen BALANCING (Fig.
5-60).
With indication H2

Silent wheel running conditions cannot be improved.
 Press ESC or STOP (3,6, Fig. 5-78a) to quit
Optimisation.

However, it is possible to readjust the tyre with rim to
obtain a quite considerable reduction of weights (i.e.
smaller weights) without having an adverse effect on
wheel running conditions.
 Press MINIMISATION (4, Fig. 5-78a)
Splitting faults
At this stage of the program the faults index is available
(Fig. 5-79a).
Two values appear, indicating how the total wheel
unbalance is split as a percentage between the
rim and the tyre;
= % unbalance attributable to the Tyre

= % unbalance attributable to the Rim

 Continue as shown on screen OPTIMISATION "10"
(Fig. 5-78b).
