Programming
1.
CONNECT the battery harness wires to the logic
board connector, if battery backup was installed.
2.
APPLY Power to the Operator. When power
is applied to the operator, the LCD display will
illuminate and step the user through Quick Start
Commissioning.
3.
During Commissioning, ENSURE door opening is
cleared of ALL obstructions.

NOTE: On a "Service Board" the first prompt in Quick Start
Commissioning will be SKU/ MODEL option.
Quick Start Commissioning
Follow the below instructions to provision the TDC
operator out-of-the-box or after factory reset:
Follow device menu prompt to set MOUNT TYPE
(NORMAL or REVERSE).
NOTE: Highlighted option "NORMAL"
Follow device menu prompt to set OPEN LIMIT
Follow device menu prompt to set CLOSE LIMIT
Follow device menu prompt to LEARN WIFI
The operator will be in WiFi Learn Mode for 10 minutes if
"YES" is selected.
NOTE: Select "NORMAL" in the MOUNT TYPE menu when
installing the operator in a standard configuration.
Select "REVERSE" in the MOUNT TYPE menu when
installing the operator in a reverse application.

To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:

Disconnect electric power BEFORE performing ANY
adjustments or maintenance.
•
ALL maintenance MUST be performed by a trained door
systems technician.
•
Please wait several seconds for capacitors to discharge
and for display to go out.
Quick Start Commissioning
Follow the below instructions to provision the JDC/JHDC
operator out-of-the-box or after factory reset:

Follow device menu prompt to select DOOR HANGING
Follow device menu prompt to select DOOR DRUM
Follow device menu prompt to select DOOR SPROCKET
(JDC/RJDC/JHDC ONLY)
Follow device menu prompt to set MOUNT TYPE
(NORMAL or REVERSE).

Follow device menu prompt to set OPEN LIMIT
Follow device menu prompt to set CLOSE LIMIT
Follow device menu prompt to LEARN WIFI

Quick Exit of Menu
Simultaneously, press & hold the
"UP" and red "Stop/Enter buttons
for 3 seconds until the screen goes
blank and it will exit you out of the
menu you are in.
Quick Enter into the Menu
Simultaneously, press & hold the
"Down" and red "Stop/Enter buttons
for 3 seconds until the screen goes
blank and it will take you to the
main menu.
