Storage information and usage duration
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. The
medical retailer or doctor prescribing the orthosis will
advise on exactly how long it can be used for.
Notes for specialist staff
Please note the applicable official regulations relating
to the issue and adjustment of orthoses by authorised
specialist staff.
Adjustment: JuzoPro Malleo Xtec Light can be
adjusted for the particular foot width. To do so detach
the pad at the sole of the foot from the shell. You can
now loosen the hook and loop fastener and adjust the
distance between the shells as required.
Indications
Non-surgical and postoperative treatment of ligament
injuries, chronic ankle instability, following ligament
lesions and/or sprains, stabilisation of the ankle during
exercise.
Contraindications
If the following symptoms exist, the orthosis should
only be worn after consultation with the physician:
lymph drainage disorders, arterial flow impairment,
post-thrombotic conditions skin disorders or skin
irritations; open wounds in the treated body region
should be covered sterilely.
Liability for failure to comply with these contraindi-
cations cannot be accepted by the Julius Zorn GmbH
Group.
Side effects
There are no known side effects when using this
product correctly. However, if you notice any adverse
changes (e.g. irritation of the skin) during the
prescribed use, please consult your doctor or medical
retailer immediately. If you know that you are allergic
to one or more of the product ingredients, please
consult your doctor before using the product. If your
symptoms worsen during the time you are wearing
the product, please take off the product and consult
a medical specialist immediately. The manufacturer
does not accept any liability for damage/injuries
resulting from improper use or misuse.
In the case of complaints related to this product, such
as damage to the knitted fabric or problems with
the fit, please contact the medical retailer directly.
Only serious incidents that may lead to a major
deterioration of the patient's medical condition or to
death should be reported to the manufacturer and
the relevant authority in the Member State. Serious
incidents are defined in Article 2 (65) Regulation (EU)
2017/745 (MDR).
Disposal
As a rule, the product is to be destroyed via the con-
ventional disposal route after the end of use. Please
observe the applicable local/national regulations.

Usage prévu
JuzoPro Malleo Xtec Light stabilise la cheville grâce
à deux éléments rembourrés et rigides. Ces derniers
sont reliés entre eux de manière flexible et modulable
et sont placés latéralement par rapport à la cheville.
L'orthèse limite les mouvements de pronation et de
supination, c'est-à-dire une torsion vers l'intérieur ou
vers l'extérieur respectivement.
Voici comment enfiler correctement votre
produit :
Enfilez et retirez votre bandage en position assise en
vue d'éviter toute blessure ou chute.
1. Ouvrez les deux sangles au niveau des coques de
l'orthèse, ouvrez les coques et placez l'orthèse
devant vous sur le sol. Placez alors votre talon
sur l'élément de connexion entre le coques de
l'orthèse. Votre pied doit former un angle de 90°
avec la jambe. Fermez alors les deux coques autour
de l'articulation de telle sorte que vos malléoles
reposent de manière centrée dans les évidements
prévus à cet effet.
2. Ensuite, passez tout la sangle supérieure de
l'orthèse dans la boucle, passez la sangle autour de
la jambe et fermez-la. Procédez de même pour la
sangle inférieure.
L'orthèse est bien en place si elle entoure bien l'arti-
culation, sans exercer une pression trop forte (dou-
loureuse). Un réajustement de l'orthèse est possible
à tout moment en répétant l'étape 2. Pour un succès
optimal du traitement, portez l'orthèse par dessus la
chaussette, dans une chaussure (de sport).
Veuillez noter :
Ne portez votre orthèse que conformément aux
instructions du médecin. Les dispositifs médicaux ne
peuvent être appliqués que par des personnes ayant
reçu une formation adéquate. L'efficacité de l'orthèse
ne peut se déployer correctement que si elle a été
correctement mise en place et portée dans le respect
des recommandations de traitement. L'orthèse résiste
parfaitement aux huiles, onguents, à l'humidité de la
peau et autres impacts environnementaux. Certaines
combinaisons peuvent influer sur la durabilité du
produit. Nous recommandons par conséquent un
contrôle régulier dans un magasin médical spécialisé.
