Taxi bus
The NEOX is designed to be secured in a taxi bus in
a forward direction. The NEOX has tested positive
as a crash test-safe wheelchair in accordance with
ISO 7176-19:2022. The NEOX can therefore be trans-
ported as a seat with occupant in a taxi bus (see the
sticker on the wheelchair on the upper frame tube,
front right under the seat mat).
However, whether the occupant of the wheelchair
can be transported safely depends on his or her
state of health. The user's physician should be
consulted. Life & Mobility recommends moving the
occupant from the NEOX to a fixed seat if possible.
The wheelchair must then be securely secured in the
vehicle.
n The NEOX was tested, where the test dummy
was secured with a 3-point belt. The suitability
for collisions or other types of belts than those
mentioned in the above standard has not been
tested.
n The NEOX has been tested in different configu-
rations.
n The NEOX must be equipped with an approved*
4-point hold-open system in accordance with EN
10542-2. attached to the floor of the minibus.
Waarschuwing:
•
If there is no crash test safe sticker on the
wheelchair from the factory, this is not a
wheelchair that can be transported safely.
•
Only lift the wheelchair by fixed frame parts
and not by removable accessories such as
armrests, leg rests, seat, backrest, etc.
•
The positions of the four attachment points
on the NEOX are indicated by a hook symbol
sticker (see Figure 1).
These points must be used to secure the wheelchair.
