2.3 SAFETY IN HANDLING THE BATTERY
DANGER
RISK OF INJURY DUE TO ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE!
• The charging plug, the charger and the mains cable must not be damaged. To avoid damage, do not modify the power cord or plug, do not bring them near hot objects, do not bend, twist or pull them,
do not place heavy objects on them and do not bundle them tightly.
• The mains socket to which the charger is connected must have a voltage of 100 to 240 V AC and must have appropriate electrical fuses.
• When connecting and disconnecting to/from a mains socket, always hold the power cord by the plug.
• The battery charger must not be used with a transformer for power voltages abroad (travel adapter).

RISK OF INJURY FROM ESCAPING LIQUID OR ESCAPING VAPORS!
Liquid or gas may escape if the battery is damaged or used improperly. This may cause skin irritation, eye irritation, respiratory irritation or burns!
• Avoid contact with escaping gas or liquid.
• In case of skin contact, rinse affected area with water.
• In case of eye contact, consult a doctor.
• Add fresh air if you experience respiratory irritation and seek medical attention if you have symptoms.
