Problem
The tool fails

Probable Cause
The battery is not secure.
Battery is depleted.
Possible wiring or electrical
contact problems.
The safety push button is not
pressed before grasping the
trigger.
The battery is overheated.
The LED indicator on the
battery flashes green.
The battery pack or the
motor is too hot.
The battery pack is
disconnected.
Battery is depleted.
Corrective Action
To secure the battery pack, make sure
the battery packs snap into place.
Charge the battery pack.
Remove battery, check contacts, and
re-install the battery pack.
Press down the safety push-button
and with it depressed, grasp the
trigger.
Remove the overheated battery from
the tool and wait until the battery pack
cools down, then re-install the battery
and restart the tool.
Allow the battery pack or the motor to
cool down.
Re-install the battery pack.
Charge the battery pack according to
the instructions.
