1.2 Work Safety Area
Do not modify or disassemble your charger. Bring it to an authorized repair service, if

service or repair is required. Improper installation can result in electrical shock, injury, death
and fire.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, pull the plug instead of the power cord out from
the socket, if you want to disconnect the charger from the mains.

The information on current and voltage on the battery pack must comply with those
of the charger.
Do not handle the charger with wet hands.

Avoid accidental stepping on power cord by always being aware of its location.
Recharge your battery only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.

Place the charger far from any heat source.
•
Keep charger away from rain and/or moisture. Water increases the risk of electric shock.
Do not leave the equipment unattended while it is operating to avoid the risk of fire,
•
burns and electric shocks.
•
To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug charger before attempting any maintenance or
cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.
•
Do not operate the charger if it has been damaged.
•
Do not disassemble the charger.
•
Do not use if the power cord has been damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid hazards.
Only have your charger serviced by a Garant service dealer using identical replace

ment parts. Please contact customer service at 1 800 463-7040 to locate a certified dealer.

Keep your product out of reach of children at all times.
Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise
•
damaged in any way; take it to a qualified service person.
