7.5 Transporting and Storing
WARNING: Do not store or transport the attachment while it is running. Always
remove the battery pack before storing or transporting it.
WARNING: Always exercise caution to avoid the sharp blade, even when your
machine is turned off.
WARNING: Inspect all parts for damage, breakage, and wear. Repair or replace
damaged or missing parts before storing.
WARNING: Check all screws, bolts, nuts, fasteners, etc. for tightness.
WARNING: Clean the unit thoroughly before storing.
WARNING: If the attachment is removed from the powerhead and stored separately:
Fit the tube protective cap on the attachment shaft to avoid dirt getting into the
shaft.
WARNING: Clean all foreign material from the power unit.
WARNING: Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area, locked up or up high, out of
the reach of children. Do not store the unit on or adjacent to fertilizers, gasoline, or
other chemicals.
WARNING: Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and
deicing salts.
