8. Troubleshooting
WARNING: Switch off and remove the battery before any troubleshooting.
NOTE: The following chart lists problem symptoms, possible causes, and corrective action if
your garden product does not operate properly. If these do not identify and correct the problem,
contact our helpline at 1 800 463-7040.
Problem
Appliance fails
to start.

Probable Cause
Battery pack is not secure.
Battery charge is depleted.
Battery pack can not
work normally due to low
temperature.
The lock-off button is not
pressed before pressing the
trigger switch.
The attachment is not well
connected with the power
head.
Corrective Action
Reinstall the battery pack, making sure
the battery pack is seated firmly.
Charge the battery pack.
Remove battery from the snow
shovel. Place battery on charger
and allow to charge for 10 minutes
or until the indicator lights turns
green. Reinstall the battery pack into
the snow shovel for use.
Press down the lock-off lever and hold
it, then press the trigger to turn on the
power unit.
Disconnect the attachment from the
powerhead. Reconnect them following
the section "CONNECTING THE
ATTACHMENT TO THE POWERHEAD"
in this manual.
