Remove the battery packs in the following cases:

Whenever leaving the machine unattended.
—
Before clearing a blockage.
—
Before checking, cleaning or working on the machine.
—
After striking a foreign object. Inspect the machine for damage and make repairs before
restarting and operating the machine.

Whenever the machine starts vibrating abnormally. Immediately inspect the snow
blower for any damage, and replace or repair any damaged parts before restarting
and operating the snow blower, and check for and tighten any loose parts.
•
This appliance cannot be used by children. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
This appliance can be used only used by skilled person that has read and understand
•
the instruction manual.
•
Be careful during adjustment of the machine to prevent entrapment of the fingers
between moving impeller and fixed parts of the machine.
•
Never pick up or carry an appliance while the motor is running.
•
Start or operate the machine with caution according to the instructions.
•
Do not start the motor if you are standing in front of the discharge chute. Keep away
from the discharge opening.
Do not tilt the machine when switching on the motor, except if the machine has to be
•
tilted for starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and lift only the
part which is away from the operator.
1.2.5 Clearing A Clogging Discharge Chute
Hand contact with the rotating impeller assembly inside the discharge chute is the
•
most common cause of injury associated with snow blowers. Never use your hand to
clean out the discharge chute.
To clear the chute:
•
1.
SHUT THE MOTOR OFF! Remove the battery.
2.
Wait 10 seconds to be sure the impeller assembly blades have stopping rotating.
3.
Always use a clean-out tool, not your hands.
1.2.6 Maintenance and Storage
•
After use and before storage, remove the battery packs from the machine and check
for damage.
•
Check shear bolts, motor mounted bolts, etc, at frequent intervals for proper tightness
to sure the equipment is in safe working condition.
