6. Operation
WARNING: Do not operate near electrical power lines. The unit has not been
designed to protect from electric shock in the event of contact with overhead
electric lines, consult local regulations for safe distances from overhead electric
power lines, and ensure that the operating position is safe and secure before
turning on the tool.
WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during
power tool operation. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your
eyes and other possible serious injuries.
WARNING: Only use the attachments recommended by the manufacturer. The use of
attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury.
WARNING: Inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts before
each use. Tighten all fasteners and do not operate this product until all missing or
damaged parts are replaced.
6.1 Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
WARNING: Always remove the battery pack from the product when you are
assembling parts, adjusting, cleaning, or when the blower is not in use. Removing
the battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal
injury.
Fully charge the battery pack before first use. Connect your battery pack to the charger. Your
battery should be fully charged before the first use of your product. To install the battery pack:
1.
Check to ensure that the trigger is not engaged.
2.
Align the ribs of the battery pack with the mounting slots in the battery port. Insert
the battery pack into the battery holder. (Fig.5)
3.
Ensure that the latch snaps into place and the battery feels secure.
