5. Assembly
WARNING: Read and understand the Operator's Manual carefully and follow all
warnings and instructions. Failure to follow all instructions could result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.
WARNING: Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery pack is
removed before carrying out any work on the tool. Failure to switch off and remove
the battery pack may result in serious personal injury from accidental start-up.
WARNING: Never start the tool unless it is completely assembled. Operation of
the tool in a partially assembled state may result in serious personal injury from
accidental start-up.
WARNING: There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
5.1 Connect the Attachment Shaft to the Attachment
1.
Remove the tube protection cap before installation.
2.
Align the round hole on the attachment shaft with the side coupling hole on the snow
shovel attachment. (Fig. 2)
3.
Push the attachment shaft into the attachment and secure it with two bolts. The bottom
screw must go into the round hole. The tube must not be squeezed and deformed
by the screw.
