5. Reclycling
WARNING: When preparing the battery for disposal or recycling, cover its terminals
with heavy-duty adhesive tape. Never touch both terminals with metal objects
and/or body parts as a short circuit may result. Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble batteries or remove any of the components. Keep the product out of
reach of children. Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire and/
or serious injury.
Please recycle all materials instead of disposing of them as waste. The product,
accessories, and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
6. Troubleshooting
The following chart lists problem symptoms, possible causes, and corrective action if
your garden product does not operate properly. If these do not identify and correct the
problem, contact our helpline at 1 800 463-7040.
Problem

Allow the battery pack to reach its
normal temperature range. Charging
will begin when the battery pack
returns to 40°F - 110°F.
