6. Troubleshooting
The following chart lists problem symptoms, possible causes and corrective action, if your
product does not operate properly. If these do not identify and correct the problem, contact our
helpline at 1 800 463-7040.
Problem
Flashing red LED
light and no charge
Flashing alternating

7. Disposal and Recycling
The product, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Consult with your local government waste management to determine the best method of
disposal for any defective parts.
DO NOT THROW YOUR CHARGER INTO THE HOUSEHOLD WASTE!

Probable cause
The charger is at an
unsuitable temperature for
operation
Either the battery pack or
the charger is defective.
Over voltage
Corrective action
Allow the battery pack to reach normal
temperature. Charging will begin
when the battery pack cools down to
approximately 110°F or warms to more
than 40°F
Remove the battery from the charger,
and reinstall it. If the charger still
doesn't work, contact customer
service.
