5.2 Connect the Attachment to the Powerhead
WARNING: Never attach or adjust any attachment while the powerhead is running
or with the battery installed. Failure to stop the motor and remove the battery may
cause serious personal injury.
NOTE: This attachment is designed for use only with Garant Powerhead 85837.
1.
Remove the tube protection cap before installation. (Fig. 3A, 1)
2.
Loosen the wing knob. (Fig. 3A, 2)
3.
Align the installation hole on the attachment shaft with the arrow on the powerhead
shaft and push the attachment shaft into the powerhead shaft until you hear a "click"
sound, which means that the attachment shaft is mounted into place. (Fig. 3B, 1)
4.
Try to rotate or pull the shaft to ensure the installation is secure, if not secured try to
reassemble it from step 3.
5.
Tighten the wing knob firmly. (Fig. 3B, 2)
WARNING: Be certain that the wing knob is fully tightened before operating
the equipment; check it periodically for tightness during use to avoid serious
personal injury.
