6.4 Snow Shovel Operation
WARNING: Keep bystanders, helpers, children, and pets away from the machine
while it is in operation. Stop the motor if anyone enters the area.
WARNING: Never direct the chute outlet toward people or animals. While snow
may seem harmless, it can contain rocks or other debris that could cause serious
injury when discharged through the chute.
WARNING: To avoid serious personal injury, wear goggles or safety glasses at all
times when operating this unit. Wear a face mask or dust mask in dusty locations.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Wear heavy, long pants, boots and gloves.

Stand upright and hold the tool with a firm
grip with both hands as shown while in
operation. (Fig. 8)

Wearing the harness is able to help do your
work better.
•
Do not leave a running machine
unattended. Always park on level ground,
stop the motor and remove the battery
pack to prevent unintended starting during
a break.
