5.2 Connect an Attachment to the Power Head
WARNING: Read and understand the entire Operator's Manual for each optional
attachment used on this power head and follow all warnings and instructions.
Failure to follow all instructions could result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious
personal injury.
WARNING: This Garant 62V power head (85837) is designed to be used only with
the Garant attachments that are specified in this Operator' s Manual. The use of other
unauthorized attachments could cause serious personal injuries or property damage.
1.
Remove the tube protection cap before installation and preserve for futur storing.

Loosen the wing knob. (Fig.3A)
3.
Align the installation hole on the attachment shaft with the arrow on the power head
shaft. Ensure the desired installation hole is aligned with the shaft release button,
and push the attachment shaft into the power head shaft until you hear a "click"
sound, which means that the attachment shaft is mounted into place. (Fig. 3B)

Try to rotate or pull the shaft to ensure the installation is secure, if not secured try
to reassemble it from step 3.
5.
Tighten the wing knob firmly.
5.3 Remove the Attachment from the Power Head
WARNING: Never attach, detach or adjust any attachment while the power head
is running or with the battery installed. Failure to stop the motor and remove the
battery may cause serious personal injury.
1.
Stop the motor and remove the battery pack.
2.
Loosen the wing knob to release the shaft. (Fig.4A)
3.
Press the shaft release button and then, pull the attachment shaft or extension tube
out from the power head shaft to remove it. (Fig.4B)
