NOTICE:
Follow these recommendations to avoid damage to the
self-cleaning surfaces or accessories.
The appliance records the number of times it is used
▶
and indicates when cleaning is recommended. The
recommendation is displayed until "Ecolytic Clean" has
finished. Always carry out the cleaning function when
prompted.
If your appliance becomes prematurely soiled or if you
▶
notice dark patches on the back panel you should run
"Ecolytic Clean", even if there is no recommendation
displayed.
The more often the appliance is cleaned, the longer the
▶
porous surfaces will retain their cleaning capability. You
can use "Ecolytic Clean" as often as necessary.
Do not clean parts or accessories with "Ecolytic Clean".
▶
Note: During operation and while the cleaning function is
active, reddish patches may form on the surfaces. This is
not rust, but food residues. These patches are not
hazardous to your health and do not limit the cleaning
capacity of the self-cleaning surfaces.

Notes
The cleaning cycle takes 1 hour. The duration cannot

be changed.
Keep the kitchen ventilated while the cleaning function

is running.
Wipe out large spills from the oven cavity.

Press ON I OFF.

Press MENU.
4.
Swipe to select "Ecolytic Clean"
5.
Touch the bottom line.
6.
Press START I STOP.
7.
The cleaning time starts to count down on the display.

Easy clean
This function makes it easier to clean the bottom of the
oven cavity. Food and food spills are soaked and can then
be removed more easily.
Setting Easy Clean for the steam oven
CAUTION
Hot steam can arise due to water in the hot oven cavity.
Never pour water into the hot oven cavity.

Note: Do not open the appliance door during operation, or
the function will be interrupted.
Requirement: The oven cavity has cooled off.
Remove all racks and accessories from the oven cavity.

Remove coarse dirt and food soils. Pour 14 fl. oz
2.
(400 ml) water with 1 drop detergent liquid into the oven
cavity.
Press ON I OFF.

Select the lower oven cavity.
4.
Press MENU.
5.
Swipe to select "Easy Clean"
6.
Touch the bottom line of the display.
7.
Press START I STOP.
8.
The cleaning time counts down on the display.

Carry out the steps for subsequent cleaning.

Subsequently cleaning the oven cavity after the
cleaning function
Clean the oven cavity manually as soon as it has cooled
off after the cleaning function.
NOTICE:
Moisture in the oven cavity can cause damage to the
surfaces.
Remove remaining water from the oven cavity promptly.

Do not leave the remaining water in the oven cavity for
▶
a long time, for example overnight.
Do not operate the appliance when the oven cavity is
▶
still wet or damp.
Open the appliance door and remove the remaining

water with an absorbent sponge cloth.
Clean the smooth surfaces in the oven cavity with a
2.
dish cloth or a soft brush. Stubborn residues can be
removed using a soft scouring pad.
Remove limescale with a cloth soaked in vinegar and
3.
wipe it with clean water. Rub the oven cavity dry with a
soft cloth; also dry under the door seal.
Turn the appliance off.

Leave the appliance door ajar in the stop position
5.
(approx. 30°) for about one hour to allow the enamel
surfaces in the oven cavity to dry thoroughly.
You can also use the drying function.

You can use the drying function to dry the steam oven
cavity after operation.
Press ON I OFF.

Press MENU.
2.
Swipe to select "Drying"
3.
Touch the bottom line.
4.
Press START I STOP.
5.
Descaling
Even if you use softened water, you will need to descale
the steam oven at regular intervals.
The descaling program consists of several steps. For
hygiene reasons, the descaling program must be run
through completely so that the appliance can be ready for
operation again. In total, the descaling program runs for
approx. 70-90 minutes.

Tip: Follow the step by step instructions on the display.
Mix 3½ cups (800 ml) of water with half a bottle
