If the appliance is installed directly next to an oven,
the energy consumption may increase slightly. This is
dependent on the service life and usage intensity of the
oven.
Energy consumption depends on the installation condi‐
-
tions, e.g. the ambient temperature (see 1.3 Appliance
range of use) . A warmer ambient temperature can
increase the energy consumption.
Open the appliance for as short a time as possible.
-
The lower the temperature is set the higher the energy
-
consumption.
Keep all food properly packed and covered. This prevents
-
frost from forming.
Only take food out for as long as necessary so that it
-
doesn't warm up too much.
-
Inserting warm food: allow to cool down to room temper‐
ature first.
-
Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator.*
If there is a thick layer of frost in the appliance: defrost
-
the appliance.*
-
Use the vacation function (see Holiday function) if you
intend to be away for an extended period.
