Information about the motor features
2. Information about the motor features
2.1. Designated use
The motor type SE Plus-RC must only be used for operating awnings or roller shutters.
2.2. Properties
In order to protect the hangings, the drives have a self-programming overload detection in
the upwards direction after the end limit setting has been completed.
Further notes: The airborne noise of the motor is significantly below 70 dB (A). Depending on
the type of the roller shutter/awning/screen a strengthening of the sound intensity of the
motor is possible. It can be reduced by use of appropriate measures (e.g. insulation of the
box, using noise protection plugs, etc.).
2.3. SELVE commeo/iveo radio
All SELVE-RC motors receive radio signals on 868.1 MHz (commeo radio) and 868.3 MHz (iveo
radio). The two radio systems can not be operated at the same time.
commeo is a bidirectional radio system that saves data in the receiver as well as the transmit-
ter. iveo is an unidirectional radio system. The motor is compatible with both radio systems
after it has been disconnected from the mains supply as long as the teaching process for a
commeo/iveo transmitter has not already been completed. If you wish to change the radio
system retrospectively, the programming for all transmitters of the other radio system must
be re-programed. The motor must then be disconnected from the mains supply. All SELVE
commeo/iveo transmitters can be programmed into these motors. Up to 16 transmitters can
be programmed into one motor. Please adhere to the transmitter operating instructions. The
commeo motors can be set for different applications in the CONFIGURATION mode. The com-
meo motor SE Plus-RC is already set for 'awning'. During iveo operation a change of the appli-
cation is not possible.
Note: Ensure that the controls are not installed and operated in the vicinity of metal surfaces
or magnetic fields. Metal surfaces or panes of glass with a metallisation within the transmis-
sion path can reduce the range considerably.
EN
Radio sets transmitting at the same frequency could interfere with reception.
It should be noted that the range of the radio signal is restricted by legislation and construc-
tional measures.
