The blower doors are opened as follows:
The handles for opening the doors are located in each
side of the doors. It is only necessary to press one han-
dle to open the doors. Both doors are supported by gas
dampers which hold the doors up.
When the doors are to be closed, they are pressed
downwards until the lock engages. Pay attention to
whether the doors have been correctly engaged, on
both sides.
It is possible to fit a padlock to the handles of the doors.
Do not attach the blower to the floor or support struc-
ture as the vibration damping feet will become ineffec-
tive.
It is possible to supply the blowers with an FK350 x 2m
silencer (without baffles) for both the inlet and outlet -
see section "Accessories".
Especially for the MultiAir FC/FCE models:
NOTE - If the blower is subjected to vibration from the
ground or piping there is a risk that the blower's control
system will be damaged. Therefore, pay special atten-
tion to the following:
It is important that the blower is mounted on a
vibration-free surface and that no vibrations are
transmitted to the blower via the connected pipe
system. Of same cause, the blower is equipped
with 4 machine shoes that has a vibration-damping
effect.
It is important that the pipe system is supported or sus-
pended properly. Furthermore, piping should be sup-
ported close to the blower and no movement from the
connected pipeline is to be transferred to the blower.
If the piping is not supported properly, or if any de-
flection is transferred, there is a great risk that the
blower control system will be damaged, as oscilla-
tions from the blower can propagate to the control
system.
The pipes on the blower's inlet and outlet side must be
set up so that the pipe ends lie parallel to each other
and are centred, with a max. deviation of 2 mm before
mounting the bolt clamp.
÷
Installation of the pipes:
The conveying performance of a pneumatic conveying
system is highly dependent on the layout of the piping.
It is therefore important to follow the layout that has
been designed for the installation in question. Bear in
mind that the joints of the pipe system must be tight as
leaks will reduce the conveying performance.
The blower can move large volumes of air and can
therefore generate high noise levels. It must therefore
be ensured that the connected piping is noise-insulated
sufficient to comply with all local requirements from the
authorities. This can be done by mounting inline silenc-
ers on the blower's intake and outlet; possibly com-
bined with additional sound attenuation.
All models have pipe connections on both inlets and
outlets. If the blower is not connected with piping to the
inlet side it is recommended to connect an inline silenc-
er to avoid excessive noise levels.
