The icon provides access to vibration monitoring setup
All material blowers are equipped with vibration monitoring as standard and
can be purchased as an accessory for the clean air blowers.
A vibration sensor on the motor's foot console monitors the vibration level
of the blower. In the event that the level is exceeded for more than 10 sec-
onds, the blower will be switched off to protect against damage and, in worst
case, personal injury. At the same time, "Vibration status" is displayed by
pressing the red flashing alarm icon on the operator panel.
If the monitoring is not active, the blower may be severely damaged
and there is also a risk of personal injury!
If vibration monitoring is deactivated during operation, the blower will
stop!
Vibration monitoring is activated and pressing "O" will deactivate the moni-
toring. If desired, this can be done as follows:
Select "O".
Select "O" again to confirm the deactivation, as an extra assurance that
Admin wants the deactivation. If deactivation is not desired, select Return.
Return
An hourglass will appear for approx. 20 seconds.
Vibration monitoring is now deactivated.
Activation is done in reverse order - see also section "Accessories".
The blower housing and rotor must be inspected in accordance with the
"Service and maintenance" section.
