3 INSTALLATION
3.2.8 Electrical wiring, panel-mounted version, without relay
Before wiring the device, please read § 3.2.1 and 3.2.3 carefully.
Install the transmitter into the panel as described in § 3.1.2. Connect the terminal strips as
indicated below.
Connecting the remote
conductivity sensor:
1 : Pt1000
2 : Pt1000
3 : Conductivity electrode
4 : Conductivity electrode
PE : Conductivity sensor cable
shielding

By tubular cells, connect
terminal 3 to the internal
electrode and terminal 4
to the external one

Connection to a PLC
The 4-20 mA signal originating from the transmitter without relay is sent out on the wires of
the 12-30 VDC power supply. The signal can be transmitted to a PLC (see Fig. 3.7).
Connection to the conductivity sensor type 8220
Assemble the EN 175301-803 cable plug of sensor 8220 as described in Fig. 3.4 then
connect the sensor to the 8225 separate transmitter.
