3 INSTALLATION
3.2.9 Electrical wiring, panel-mounted version, with relays
Before wiring the device, please read § 3.2.1 and 3.2.3 carefully.
Install the transmitter into the panel as described in § 3.1.2. Connect the terminal strips as
indicated below.
Only manipulate the switch when the device is not powered.

Connection to a PLC
The 4-20 mA output of the transmitter, 12-30 VDC with relays can be connected to a PLC.
Depending on the PLC type, set switch [1] to position "SOURCE" or to position "SINK".
See Fig. 3.14.
Connection to the conductivity sensor type 8220
Connect the separate transmitter with relays the same way as the separate transmitter
without. See Fig. 3.16.
