3 INSTALLATION
3.2.2 Electrical wiring, compact transmitter, 12-30 VDC,
with EN 175301-803 cable plug
Before wiring the device, please read § 3.2.1 carefully, then assemble
EN 175301-803 cable plug (Fig. 3.4).

Connecting the 8225 compact transmitter
with EN 175301-803 cable plug to a PLC
The 4-20 mA signal originating from the compact trans-
mitter without relay, with EN175301-803 cable plug
is transmitted on the wires of the 12-30 VDC power
supply. The signal can be transmitted to a PLC.
- Extract part [3] from part [2].

- Unscrew cable gland [5].
- Insert cable into part [2] via cable gland [5].
- Connect part [3] (see hereafter for a 8225, compact version,
or Fig. 3.16 for a sensor 8220).
- Replace part [3].
- Tighten cable gland [5].
- Place gasket [4] between cable plug and fixed connector.
- Plug the cable plug onto the transmitter or the sensor.
- Tighten screw [1], in order to perform good sealing and
electrical contact.
