Risk of tipping
Danger of tipping over if there is a high centre of gravity
•
When setting up with tower, mount the spacer supports on the base plate of the
robot
•
Attach external components to the robot to prevent them from falling down
•
Provide protection against transported goods falling down
Rotating drive pulleys
Risk of crushing if fingers or hands are pulled in
•
Do not reach into the area of the drive pulleys when the device is switched on.
•
Only lift the device by the carrying handles
•
Do not remove the covers of the drive pulleys
•
Carry Robotino 4.0 by the handles in order to transport it.
•
Mount all components securely to the chassis or the mounting fixtures intended for
this purpose.
•
Only reach into the Robotino 4.0 mobile robot system when it is at a complete
standstill.
•
Always position the command bridge vertically so as not to damage the raised pin
contact.
•
Secure the load before carrying out any work on the assembly tower.
Warning regarding entanglement hazard
•
Never touch the wheels of Robotino 4.0! Depending on the program, the wheels
could suddenly start turning. In order to increase resistance on the wheel, press
Robotino 4.0 into the floor (e.g. while conducting exercises dealing with the subject of
the PID controller).
Observe the warning signs on the wheels which make reference to this risk of injury.

When removing the wheel covers, make sure that hair or clothing does not get caught
in the wheels.
