4. Setting of the end positions

4.1. Delivery status

In the SELVE delivery status no end positions are programmed into the motor! In this
state, the motor can be operated in deadman's operation only. Safety functions are
deactivated at delivery and will only become active after both end positions are set.
In delivery status the SEZ is in automatic programming mode. This will be signalized
by a short up and down movement when connected to mains.

4.2. Setup functions

The end positions setting of a SELVE motor is possible via:
• any standard switch (in automatic mode)
• the setting switch for electronic motors (item no. 290103, manual setup­mode)

4.3. Mechanic requirements

When using the SEZ the awning fabric will often be connected directly with the fabric
shaft.
Caution:
When setting in automatic setting mode, a fixed, upper end limit has to exist.
For the setting in the automatic setting mode a limit (e.g. windowsill) for the lower
switching­off point has to be mounted.
