10. Equipment compliance

Tractel hereby declares that the safety equipment described in this manual,
Mounted floor base, wall mounted base, clearance mural base or flush floor base in combination
with the Davimast™ mast and:
The 310 lbs (140 kg) PPE double anchor with 360° rotation bracket, the Blocfor® bi-directional
retrieval lifeline bracket, the Tractel® winch bracket,
Meet the following requirements:
ANSI Z359.1-2007 & A10.32-2004; OSHA 1910 & 1926
Are manufactured in accordance with
CSA Z259.13-2004 & Z259.16-2004

11. Markings

The label markings of the Davimast™ indicates (see page 7 – Fig. 7):
a.
The trade name: Tractel®;
b.
The product description;
c.
The reference standard followed by the year of application;
d.
The product reference;
f.
The serial number;
g.
A pictogram showing that the manual must be read before use;
o.
The minimum breaking strength of the anchor device;
p.
The number of individuals: One or two operators maximum depending on the bracket;
w.
The maximum working load;
aa.
The date of the next periodic inspection;
ae.
Date of first use;
af.
Anchor device against falling of persons.

12. Periodic inspections and repairs

An annual periodic inspection is mandatory; however, depending on the frequency of use,
environmental conditions and regulations of the company or the country of use, periodic inspections
may be more frequent.
If this equipment is dirty, wash it with plain cold water and brush with a synthetic brush. During
transport and storage, protect the equipment in moisture-resistant packaging from all hazards
(direct heat source, chemicals, UV rays, etc.).
Periodic examinations must be carried out by an authorised and trained technician in strict
compliance with periodic examination procedures.
The following points must be examined:
1.
Presence and legibility of marking on the product,
2.
Presence of all screws, washers and nuts on the product,
3.
Proper tightening of each screw,
4.
Presence and condition of all rods and pins,
5.
No deformation, cracking, impact or oxidation,
6.
Free rotation of the mast in a base,
7.
Free opening and closing of the boom,
8.
Free movement of the anchoring heads,
9.
Proper locking in the folded position,
10.
Free rotation of all pulleys around their axis,
11.
Presence of the retaining stop on the rotating ring,
12.
On a self-stabilising base, inspect the condition of the 4 screw levelling mechanisms.
The result of these inspections must be recorded in the inspection register located at the end of this
manual, which must be kept throughout the life of the product, until its disposal.
