Anybus-S EtherNet/IP bus module
The Anybus-S EtherNet/IP bus module is a complete EtherNet/IP adapter. It contains all
the analogue and digital components of a powerful EtherNet/IP connection.
An integral microprocessor automatically handles the EtherNet/IP bus protocol and re-
lieves the protocol processing role of the automation device CPU.
The Anybus-S EtherNet/IP bus module is used for transmitting large amounts of data with
a high data throughput and utmost reliability.
The Anybus-S EtherNet/IP bus module supports transfer speeds of 10 and100 Mbit/s.

Device concept

The AB EtherNet/IP interface includes a UBST 1 PC board with a piggy-backed Anybus-S
EtherNet/IP bus module. All the information required for an EtherNet/IP connection is
stored in the CFM of the UBST 1 PC board.
