A solar collector generates heat when exposed to sun-
light or other types of light. This leads to collector con-
nectors getting very hot, even when they are not filled.
There is a risk of burns and the collector suffering dama-
ge. Cover the collectors with opaque material until they
are fully installed. It is advisable to leave collectors in
their packaging until they are installed.

Be careful not to drop the collector. Be careful not to
drop any objects on the collector. Do not step onto the
collector.

down, the glass may break.
8.
Equipment description
The collector is fitted with a full area aluminium absorber with
highly selective coating. The flat packing connections are routed
out of the side. The collector connection on the left side has a
male thread, and the collector connection on the right side has
a union nut.
A safety glass cover protects the collector. Operating the collector
with the prepared heat transfer medium (see "Specification") pro-
vides the essential frost protection. The collector casing is made
from seawater-resistant aluminium.
