ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Wiring Guidelines
NOTE: Recommended for use on inverter duty rated motors. Follow motor manufacturer recommenda-
tions for cable lengths when using variable frequency drives.
Conduit Locations and Sizing
Use appropriate strain relief or conduit connectors. Close any
open conduit holes before finishing installation.

1. Incoming power supply—Knockout = 1.13 in (28.7 mm),
Knockout = 1.38 in (35.0 mm).
2. Power output to motor—Hole = 1.73 in (44.0 mm), Knock-
out = 1.98 in (50.4 mm).
3. Control wiring (transducer/sensor) input—Hole and two
Knockouts = 0.5 in (12.7 mm). Tighten the seal nut to 25-
30 in-lbs (2.8-3.4 Nm) and locking nut to 15-20 in-lbs (1.7-
2.2 Nm).
4. Optional cabling for auxiliary controls—two Knockouts =
0.88 in (22.2 mm).

1. Incoming power supply—Knockout = 1.37 in (34.9 mm),
Knockout = 1.73 in (44 mm).
2. Power output to motor—Hole = 1.98 in (50.4 mm), Knock-
out = 2.47 in (62.7 mm).
3. Control wiring (transducer/sensor) input—Hole and two Knockouts = 0.5 in (12.7 mm). Tighten the seal nut to 25-30 in-lbs
(2.8-3.4 Nm) and locking nut to 15-20 in-lbs (1.7-2.2 Nm).
4. Optional cabling for auxiliary controls—two Knockouts = 0.88 in (22.2 mm).
