Fan Replacement
WARNING
Contact with hazardous voltage could result in death or serious
injury.
•
Do not attempt to replace fans until power has been removed and 5 minutes have passed
to allow internal voltage to discharge.
In the event that the cooling fans fail and results in a frequent occurrence of Fault 7: Overheated Drive
faults, the fans are replaceable. Refer to
ternal Fan Replacement kits.
There are two types of fans in the drive, Internal (Stirring) fans and External (Heat Sink) fans.
Internal Fan Replacement
Stirring fans circulate air inside the drive. They connect to the Control Board at connectors (1). Fans are
secured by screws, one in each corner of the fan. There is a Power Board Stirring fan, and a dV/dt Filter
