Risk of damage to VFD, or malfunction can occur.
• If a Corner-Grounded Delta power supply is used, all EMC jumpers at J10 and J11 must be
removed to prevent drive damage.
• If an Open Delta Power Supply is used, the drive must be derated by 50% to prevent drive
damage and fault tripping. Refer to Incoming Power Supply on page 23.
NOTE: Franklin Electric MagForce submersible motors must be used with SubDrive Connect Plus submer-
sible (SUB) models. In these applications, the drive should be sized to match or exceed the maximum
amp rating of the motor based on the specific pump hp rating being used.

NOTE: Recommended for use on inverter duty rated motors (Centrifugal models). Follow motor manu-
facturer recommendations for cable lengths when using variable frequency drives.
Drives rated 230 VAC are suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more than 5,000 RMS
maximum symmetrical amperes, 230 volts or equivalent.
Drives rated 460 VAC are suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more than 5,000 RMS
maximum symmetrical amperes, 460 volts or equivalent.
NOTE: Maximum Output Amp ratings are 100% up to 3,300 ft (1,000 m) above sea level; derate Maxi-
mum Output Amps 1% for every 330 ft (100 m) above 3,300 ft (1,000 m).
