Gear oil change
The safety regulations of the German Water Resources Law (WHG), as well as all
CAUTION
instructions given in the product specification sheet of the gear oil have to be observed.
Wear appropriate protective clothing.

Let the running out oil drain off into the collecting basin.
Screw in the sealing plug with a new O-ring (NBR ∅ 9 x 2 mm) and tighten it.
Gear oil top up:
Fill new gear oil into the aperture for the gear bleeder screw (pos. 1) using an appropriate
funnel (filling volume approx. 0.8 l).
Check the oil level on oil-level gauge glass (pos. 2); (min. and max. oil level, see Fig. 11.6,
and rectify if necessary.

The gear oil must be changed after a maximum of 10.000 hours in operation or every two
years. The gear oil used here is a polyglycol oil of type Klübersynth GH6-320. Only this
gear oil or a polyglycol oil of an identical specification (conforming to DIN ISO 6743) may
be used.
Used gear oil must be disposed of correctly!

Before changing the oil, the pump has to

a minimum temperature of approx. 30°C.
Draining gear oil:
Manually unscrew gear bleeder screw (pos. 1).
Place a suitable collecting basin (min. 0.9 l)
underneath the sealing plug (pos. 3).
Loosen sealing nut with a socket wrench fitting
(SW 19) and unscrew it carefully.
